Tell me when the world will cease to exist

The exhibition presented diverse, multi-layered works that balance between form and meaning. The artist reaches for motifs rooted in legends, myths and symbols of the collective imagination, building visual narratives embedded somewhere between reality and fantasy.

Żychlińska’s work is a constant experiment – with convention, technique and matter. In her paintings, one can find echoes of surrealism, op-art, comic book expression, but also classical realism. She does not limit herself to one style, searching for new forms of expression.
