5th National Painting Competition named after Leon Wyczółkowski

We are happy to announce that Agata Żychlińska’s work “A Tale of Killing” has advanced to the second stage of the Leon Wyczółkowski National Painting Competition in Bydgoszcz!

This is the fifth edition of the competition promoting contemporary painting. This year, 445 artists submitted 1,196 works, and the jury selected 120 works by 67 artists, including Agata. The finalists address the issues of contemporary crises – war, loneliness, decay. Among the dark visions, there is also a note of hope.
