Mother, do you think they’ll drop the bomb?

Agata Żychlińska presented her works at the exhibition, addressing the subject of tension between closeness and threat, relationship and war, tenderness and violence.

Her paintings, seemingly soft and idyllic, hide deep anxiety, showing childhood fear, corporeality and spirituality in a state of suspension. It is a story about fragility and invincibility at the same time – about what happens when we look a second time.
